Advanced In-House Calibrations in Marana, Picture Rocks, Avra Valley, & Rilito, AZ

Modern vehicles rely on complex electronic systems and sensor networks that require precise calibration to function correctly. After a collision, structural repair, suspension work, windshield replacement, or a wheel alignment may require recalibration to OEM specifications so the vehicle operates accurately and safely.

At Double Gun Garage, we perform in-house calibrations using manufacturer-compliant procedures and specialized diagnostic equipment. This includes static and dynamic calibration processes for cameras, radar sensors, steering angle sensors, and other integrated vehicle systems. Proper calibration ensures that measurements such as distance calculation, lane tracking, braking response, and steering input are interpreted correctly by the vehicle’s onboard control modules.

Even minor deviations in sensor positioning, sometimes measured in millimeters, can affect system accuracy. By performing calibrations in-house, we maintain complete control over the repair process, reduce delays, and verify that all systems are properly restored before the vehicle is returned to you.

The result is a fully repaired vehicle that not only looks correct and measures correctly, but communicates and responds exactly as the manufacturer intended.

    What is a vehicle calibration?

A vehicle calibration is the process of checking and fine-tuning electronic systems and sensors so they work to OEM specifications. This includes cameras, radar sensors, steering angle sensors, and other integrated systems that depend on exact placement and measurements.

    When is calibration required?

Calibrations are often needed after a collision, windshield replacement, suspension repair, wheel alignment, or structural work that can shift sensor alignment. Even minor changes in mounting angles or alignment can require recalibration.

What happens if a system is not properly calibrated?

Improper calibration can cause inaccurate readings, delayed responses, or system malfunctions. This may affect safety-related features and overall vehicle performance, which is why precise, manufacturer-compliant calibration is essential.

Why choose in-house calibration instead of sending it elsewhere?

Performing calibrations in-house allows us to control the entire repair and verification process under one roof. This improves accuracy, reduces delays, and ensures all systems are properly tested before your vehicle is returned to you.
